"Hi my name is Dalton Chamblee, and I play the bass. Today we are going to be stringing the bass. First off grab the biggest string you can find in your set, it’s called the E string, put it through this first hole right here, and string it all the way through. The first E string goes through this first peg right here. You stick it in wrap it around, and then you turn your knob counterclockwise. You can buy certain tools that make this a lot faster, you don’t have to do it by hand. Find the little groove in the nut here for the string to go into. And then make it sound like that. The next string you’ll be grabbing is the A string and it goes in the next hole. The same as before, just stick it in wrap it around and go counterclockwise. Find your grove in the nut. The next string is the D string, the third string. This one has a little string tree you want to put it under before you start. You can do it after, just make sure it isn’t too tight or else you won’t be able to put it under there. The final and last string is the smallest string, which is the G string. This one goes on the other side of the little nut here. There you have it a perfectly strung bass. "
