"My advice to anybody who wants to make comics is just to go out there and do it and have fun with it. Know what you can afford to pay. Know what you can afford to spend. And, make the very best comics you can. Don't skimp. Take your time. Get your story right. Get an editor if you can afford one. Get the story that you want to do. And then, find the artist that's gonna make your story shine. And then, put it out in whatever format you think works. There's nothing wrong with self publishing on a small scale. If you can do a four page story and show it to your friends, that's a very good way to start. Don't spend thousands of dollars on your first time. If you can spend maybe a hundred dollars, and learn something about the medium, that's the place to start."
