"Alright, so now with the notes on the D string we have alot of notes to look over don't we? So, we don't want to get too lost anything. We want to start by playing through all of these new notes. From the low D to the high E. Make sure our pick is switching at the right times too. First we'll start off with the D string "D", play the second fret "E", F with our third finger. Now we switch our pick to the G string "Open G", "A" Those are the only two open notes on the G string. "C", "D" first finger, third finger (singing out the notes), etc.. Notice how my thumb does not move when I play this. What does change is my fingers have to move up a little bit further to try to maintain that arch. So we can move our wrist, we can bend our wrist and bring our fingers further up to play notes on the lower strings."
