"I'm Christopher from Mr. Dance Pro of South Florida and I'm Kelly Anne from 56Dance. We're going to be showing you and explaining and teaching some salsa basics and techniques and how to enjoy salsa dancing on every dance floor you may go. Progressive basic, also from mambo. Quick, quick, slow, quick, quick, slow. Gentlemen is going to be progressing slightly forward or back on the 4. So we're going to go 1, 2, 3, 4, hold. So as I step 3, I progress passed. 1, 2, 3, 4, quick, quick, slow, 1, 2, 3, 4, 1, 2, 3, 4, quick, quick, slow. I would recommend counting to yourself. Quick, quick, slow. That's the easiest way to feel in tune with the music. 1, 2, 3, 4, 5, 6, 7, 8 is a lot more technical and I just feel that quick, quick, slow is going to help you. Quick, quick, slow, quick, quick, slow. That will be a progressive basic. Lady goes back and steps forward like she's walking. So the foot passes each time. This is the progressive basic. Same timing. Quick, quick, slow, quick, quick, slow, quick, quick, slow, quick, quick, slow, and 1, 2, 3, hold, 1, 2, 3, hold."
