"Hi my name is Chris and now we are going to talk about posture. Posture is very key to keeping time and keeping form. Now then, when you are playing a drum set if you are hunched over you are more likely to be less accurate when playing drums. Let me demonstrate. Okay, notice that I was hunched over, okay. When I am hunched over that doesn’t allow me much room to function; okay. Now then, if you straighten your back out at a ninety degree angle and have correct posture this allows you to expand your horizons for playing and moving around and being able to function within the drum set.
