"This is an electronic clip-on tuner. Other tuners...sometimes you'll have tuners that you plug your guitar into and they take a signal from your pickup, or you might have a tuner that has a little microphone on it. I like these because I don't have to plug my guitar into anything to tune it up, and I also don't have to...I can tune my guitar in a noisy room, which as a small time musician is mostly where I play. Anyway, so I've turned it on, and I've plucked my low E string and it already recognizes, because it's a chromatic tuner, what note I'm going for. So I'm slightly flat, I'm slightly beneath the big arrow that I'm trying to tune into. So I'm going to make that...there we go. The pointer is now pointing at the big arrow. That low E's in tune. Now I'm tuning my A. Bam. In tune. It's flat. This is my D string, which this tuner magically recognizes. Here comes the G string. My G's a little sharp. Alright, now we're in tune. Here comes the B string, and here comes the E string. In tune. Pretty good."
