"BRIAN MONTGOMERY: All right, so we have that track now so we're going to move over to track two and we're going to put just a little bass line on top of that rhythm guitar track that we did there. So the first thing you could do, if you want, you can just go ahead and unplug the XLR that's around the microphone or you can leave it in there, it doesn't really matter. As far as the track one settings, we're going to keep it where it is at tape and we're going to keep it into safe mode so nothing gets recorded on that track. The mic/line trim, we can go ahead and pull that down, we don't need that now 'cause the track's already recorded, it's just going to be pointing back. The pan, we'll go ahead and put that back to the left there and so the second track, we'll be going to the right and that's going to be using the--we're going to plug in to the guitar-in right here in the back that we went over a little earlier, and I'm just going to be running the bass guitar directly into it. If you want to go crazy, you got a bass cabinet with you, I don't with me, we could mic the bass cabinet and record it that way and still use the XLR. So you got options on you know, what you can and can't do. All right, we'll get into track two."
