"BRIAN MONTGOMERY: All right, so we're going to lay down the acoustic guitar, get the microphone here, kind of want to get it in, kind of the tight to the guitar so you can pick up the signal, 'cause the sound is obviously coming out of the hole towards that way [STRUMS GUITAR]. So, once you kind of got that all set up with your stand and everything, you can come back over to the machine to the trim for that mic level and start bringing that up and you can just kind of keep an eye on the level indicator there [STRUMS GUITAR] as to where you're at. So right now, we're still pretty low. Light is just kind of coming up into the -10 dB, kind of keep bringing that up a little bit [STRUMS GUITAR]. It's coming up a little bit there and kind of go up a little more, kind of want to go in into the red a bit [STRUMS GUITAR]. So right there we're kind of topping out at the +3 dB which is usually a pretty good level there. So, from there it's pretty much hit record on the tape deck and cut the track."
