"BRYAN BILLHIMER: So, in this clip, now we're going to talk about fret hand muting. That's represented here on our notation. We've kind of talked about this a little bit when we talked about the rakes but fret hand muting is basically--you're not putting any fingers down. You're muting the strings with your fret hand kinda like I showed you before with your palm when you stick your palm in front of the bridge. And it's notated in the notation with just Xs. So now let's see what fret hand muting looks like on the guitar. Basically, we're going to stick our palm lightly in front of the bridge to basically mute the strings. And then on our notation, it had an X on the B string so we will pick the B string and it basically just makes a percussive-like sound. And that's basically all fret hand muting is. So in the next clip, I'm going to talk to you about palm muting."
