"BRYAN BILLHIMER: So, in this clip, we're going to talk about legato phrasing which is basically a series of hammer-ons and pull-offs together. So, we have 15th fret to the 17th to the 18th back to 17th and back to the 15th, all tied together. So, all we're going to do is pick the 15th fret. We're going to pick the string one time and the rest of this, we're going to do with hammer-ons and pull-offs. This is called legato phrasing. So, with our legato phrasing, we had the 15th fret B string to the 17th fret to the 18th fret back to the 17th fret and back to the 15th fret, all in one pick. So, we're going to pick the 15th fret, hammer on the 17th, hammer on the 18th, pull off and pull off again. And that's what it would sound like."
