"BRYAN BILLHIMER: In this clip, we're going to talk about a whole step bend. So, we see here on our tablature, this is what a full or a whole step bend looks like. We have 12th fret on the B string and the notation is asking us to bend that note a full step. So, either say full or it'll say whole step or sometimes, you'll see a plus one meaning plus one step. So, with this bend, we're bending up a full or whole step. On a guitar, a whole step is basically skipping a fret. So, 12 to 14 is a whole step, basically just skipping a fret. So, this bend is asking us to bend a whole step. So, we're going to go and make this 12th fret sound like the 14th fret by bending it. See how that note sounds the same? Now, I'm going to use that in a lick. So, I might do something like."
