"Hi! I’m Cambrey Lindsay Baccus with Expert Village and I am here today to talk to you about trance dance. Right about here, stand and face this way. Okay, so we have a dancer right here who is getting ready to practice trance dance. Whenever you have trance dance, you also have a witness or a spotter and this person is here to make sure that this person has a safe experience. Then if there is another dancer around who is dancing closely but they are not going to get an elbow in the eye and they are not going to get injured. Of course, we also ask spirit to be our guide and our protector. So as we are dancing you can see she is keeping her feet connected to earth. She is using her breath, breath of fire and she is moving her body to the rhythm. We have the darkness through the bandana, we have rhythm and healing sound in the music. "
