"We're back with Expert Village! Another tip for running a great Karaoke show. We understand that even a Karaoke host is human and audiences in a bar can get rowdy and there are hecklers and rude people and people who won't write down songs and a whole host of problems, but it's very important "Don't show your temper" Be calm, be patient. If someone insists on talking to you in the middle of your song, which is one of the rudest things people can do, just put your hand up while you continue to sing. That will give them a non-verbal signal that you are not going to respond to them until the song is over. It's very important not to yell at, or get rude or insulting, not matter how you are provoked. You are the professional; it's up to you to set a good example for the audience."
