"CASEY CORMIER: So, one, two, three, four, one, two [PLAYS CHORD] You feel that? With the metronome, [METRONOME BEAT], two, three, four [PLAYS CHORD]. It's one, two, three-and, four-and one, two, three, four. So, it's on the one, the two, the "and" of three, and the "and" of four, then you hold it, it ties over, and if you were doing chord changes you would change on the "and" of four [PLAYS CHORD PROGRESSIONS]. But notice that we changed this from A minor, this is what we're doing a ii-V7-I-vi as a 7 going back to ii. As a Latin progression, we don't play one, two, three, four, one. We basically end up playing the D7 on the "and" of the four in the A minor measure, one, two, three-and, four. So practice playing a Bossa rhythm in this method."
