So we've looked really at a skeletal outline of the twelve bar blues just using our one seven, four seven and five seven chords before. Now we can throw other chords in there, especially when you think about jazz style blues. You'll hear a lot of other chords being thrown in there. So let's take a look at the form here. Let's pretend, for now, let's say we're in the key of B flat. So B flat is our one seven chord. We'll go to the E flat 7 for our four seven, back to one seven, back to E flat seven. So all this is the same. Now, we play one seven here for this eighth measure here though we can go to the minor 6. In this case the minor 6 would be a G minor. So this is an optional minor 6 if you want to add that on your paper. Now this could be a minor, instead of being a five seven here, this could be a minor two seven, which would be in this case C minor 7. And this could be the five seven, which would be F7. Uh huh. Now this would still be one. And we could do a turn around in here too and use the six. So one seven for two beats in this four beat measure. Six for two beats. Then the two minor seven before the five seven. The sound of this would be...one, seven, one seven, four seven, one seven minor six, minor two, five seven, turn around.
