"Okay, so now let's try to play some of these seventh arpeggios in our key. How about C major? Our first arpeggio is going to be a major seventh. C, E, G, E, C. A D, we're going to play a minor seven, D, F, A, C, D, C, A, F, D, okay. Same shape for E. A three will be a minor seven. Now F we'll do the major seven pattern again. Now, we have our five chord, the D. This will be dominant for the G. So make sure you use your second finger on that seventh scale degree. that's flattened seventh. Now we're going to avoid the octave, move back down, and do A minor as a seventh chord. A, C, E, open G as the flat seventh for the minor seven, octave. Now, E half diminished, E, D, F, A, B, A, F, D, B. So let me run through that for you. It's great exercise for your fingers too. Try to make sure these fingers are also changing over here. And you're well on your way now to outlining chords, especially for C major."
