"OK, now for the half diminished 7th arpeggios. So, remember when we did the regular diminished triad, say for C. We had C, E flat, flat three, G flat, flat five. The arpeggio is with the octave. Now, to make it a half diminished chord, instead of it representing a half diminished chord we play the third fret. We play the B flat. We flat the 7 ok? And this will often lead to, you guessed it, the one chord. This would be a seven, seven half diminished seven chord to a one major seven. You might also hear about fully diminished, which don't occur naturally but where you flat the seventh twice. So, this is the regular, this is half diminished. You'd use an A here, which would not be a raised six, it wouldn't be a six. It would be thought of as a double flat seventh. Just recognizing the difference is important. But for now, work on mostly on your half diminished seventh chord arpeggio."
