"Hi I’m DJ Brady again on behalf of ExpertVillage.com. In this clip we’ll be talking about the speed of the song, or beats per minute and how to count it. You can count the number of beats for ten seconds and then multiply by six. Or, you can count the number of beats for fifteen seconds and then multiply by four, or if you want you can count for sixty full seconds. In this demonstration, I’ll count for fifteen seconds, starting at the twelve o’clock position. One, two, three, four, five, six, seven, eight, nine, ten, eleven, twelve, thirteen, fourteen, fifteen, sixteen, seventeen, eighteen, nineteen, twenty, twenty-one, twenty-two, twenty-three, twenty-four, twenty-five, twenty-six, twenty-seven, twenty-eight, twenty-nine, thirty, thirty-one, thirty-two, now we’ll multiply thirty-two by four, which comes out one hundred and twenty-eight. Now we can check that on the dannon cd player because it’s got a tap counter, and you just tap with the beat. Looks like we were pretty close, it comes out to about one hundred and twenty-eight beats per minute. "
