"I will show you more on card tricks. We are actually doing another trick this time. It’s called the rising card. What I am going to do is, I am going to take this card here, the nine of diamonds and take it and we are going to stick it right in the middle of the deck, just like this; you can actually watch it go in, just like that with a little wave and it jumps right back up to the top. This is a really simple trick to do using the double lift that we just learned, using the nine of diamonds. Again it is going to be second from the top, whatever cards on top will work. All you do is you get your break. Do your double lift, show the card and make sure they remember what the card is, nine of diamonds, flip it back face down, square the deck, push off the actual top card, in this case the ace of clubs. Stick it in the middle of the deck and be sure that you are very precise about sticking it in there. Make sure they see it going in. But, there is no way for you to hold the break because you are actually sticking the card in there. Since you are actually doing it, you want them to see at all the angles because you can get away with it. Set the cards down, do a little wave, say a magic word if you want and flip it over to reveal the nine diamonds. That is the rising card."
