"So another glazing application for clean up are your sponges. Those are used for cleaning surfaces where you've had the glaze so that it doesn't touch another color so that it doesn't mess that up, and there are different ways to glaze too. When I'm at my other studio I actually do a lot of dipping. Dipping inside of the buckets of glaze is easier only because, and quicker, because you don't have to worry about the three coats of glaze like you do with bottled glazes like these. If you don't have three layers it won't give you the color and the texture that these are supposed to give you, but when you dip, you dip it down in a bucket, hold it for at least three seconds, come back up, let it dry, then that's when the sponge comes in handy and you wipe up the bottom surface and wear your glazing so, again, it doesn't attach to another piece that you're doing and make the color really not the color you chose. So, again, dipping is my favorite resource, but if I have to paint the glaze on that's easy too."
