"Let's learn how to do "Pharaoh arms". This is a position that is nice to use for an entrance to your dance or to finish your dance, or you could even use it in the middle of a dance if you have a dramatic pause. Let's make sure that our feet are slightly apart, our knees are bent, our belly button is tucked in, our chest is lifted, and our shoulders are down and relaxed. Let's put our arm in front of our body. And we're going to let the fingers look nice and graceful, keeping the thumb tucked in slightly, the middle finger down, the others up slightly so it looks pretty. Everyone's hands do their own thing. So you have to work with what your hand does. Now let's press the wrist down. Then we're going to take it and bring it across the front of your body. Make sure the elbow, even though you have it close to your body, is out from your body, so that it creates some nice space and presentation. Now take the other hand and do the same thing, and cross in front. This is a nice way to frame a head movement. And it's a nice way to transition from other arm movements, which you can see in some of the other clips."
