Now, let's go over a great drill. We're calling it drill one for our arm movements. Belly dancing arms are made to frame the body so you always want to have nice, graceful, and beautiful arms, which takes a lot more work than you think it would. So, first, let's make sure our feet are facing straight ahead, knees are slightly bent, belly button's pulled in, chest is lifted, and shoulders are back and down. Now, we're going to break our arm up by joint, so we're going to think about our wrists first. We're going to think about lifting the wrists, and then pushing down with the wrists. Lifting the wrists, and pushing down. It's like you have a string attached to your wrist and someone's pulling up like you're a marionette, and then drop, pulling down. Lift and drop, lift and drop. Now, we're going to do the same thing with the elbow. Elbow lift, elbow drop, elbow lift, elbow drop. Try it just one arm at a time. Elbow lift, elbow drop, elbow lift, elbow drop. Other arm, elbow lift, elbow drop, elbow lift, elbow drop. Now, let's try alternating. Wrist drop, elbow drop, wrist drop, elbow drop, wrist drop, elbow drop. Good so if you practice those and drill them in front of a mirror, over and over again, you'll learn to break down the arm and have nice, smooth arm movement.
