"Hi I'm Austin McBride here on behalf of Expert Village. I will show you how to play a walking bass line on the piano. Walking bass is an essential key element in playing jazz piano. So let's start out with that, here we'll begin in C, seems to be my favorite, easiest for me to play in at least, and easiest to learn that's for sure. So we'll be doing the blues scale, or chord progression, rather, and I'll show you just the basics. You go one, three, four, five, five. So it's an F, E flat, F, F sharp, G, and just following a jazz pattern as I'm sure you've all heard and are familiar with. And back down the scale. That's an important part right there, returning up to the F. Once you feel comfortable in this key, move up to an F and run the exact same pattern. Return back down to C. After this we'll go down to a G, back down to F, and up to C. That's how you play a walking bass line."

I can tell you heard Ron Carter, but maybe the blues scale on G sounded like the influence of nobody. It´s your own stuff.
