"AYE JAYE: You know, I told you there were two things, fire and money. Ward Hall used to hold a dollar up in the air, just like this, and he would hold it and start talking to the crowd. I don't why, but it does work, and I've seen a lot of talkers use it. Now, you take an ordinary dollar. This is a thing that I do and, again, this is something that I've got if you want to get it. Watch this. You walk in any place and you say, "Listen, I've got a complaint." Now, by the way, this is the people behind the counter that all know one another, then will say, "Here comes another dumbbell. Here's another mark. Here's another guy that's going to bother us." Watch this. All I say is "Excuse me, I've got a small complaint." You're holding a complaint with a dollar. You watch all of their friends at the counter who would normally ignore you, will all look down and they want to know what's up with the dollar. I immediately go, "I don't know. I fold it; I fold; I unfold it; and it turns into a two." And my question is "Can I get my buck back?" Well, they all laugh. Can I get my buck back, a dollar that turns into two? That's stupid. Okay, I'll say, "Do you want to say five?" They'll say, "Yeah, it's simple." You fold it; you fold it; you unfold it; and that's what happens to people that are greedy. Now, I would like that up there and, by the way, this one here is yours. Oh. That's how it goes. Or if you really want to be fancy, just take a dollar and say, "You know, this inflation, it's really going nowhere because why should my dollar turn into a hundred? That's stupid. I mean--oh, I'll tell you what. Here. Take this one." I'm sorry. So anyway, dollars and all the tricks you can do to them or I'll walk in a place and say, "You know what? Trust me, I don't have money to burn," and you can show it, and it's perfectly gone. And by the way, you could also--I have a phoney right here that comes along with that one and the phoney is once I put it in my pocket--it's got a bonus trick on it. Once I put this in my pocket when I say "Wait a minute," you can look at it, you reach in, you pull this one back out, and you let them examine. Now, note. There is a hole in there. And I'll say to him, "Can you push a quarter through this hole without bending, ripping or tearing?" And of course, the answer is no. And I'll say, "Okay, it'll cost you a quarter." Now, by the way, let me tell you right now that on my business cards, I have the very same gag. You know what? I would recommend to you to put the same hole in your business cards. No one throws them away or throws them in the drawer, because here is the answer. On my business card, it says, "Hey, sucker, can you push a quarter through this hole?" What I do is I take a quarter, lay it on the table, take a toothpick, stick it through the hole and push the quarter. And yes, I did push the quarter through the hole. But again, no one gets rid of my business cards. By the way, I'm very lucky because Stevie Wonder autographed my card. Yeah, right."
