"BEN ANDERSON: Hi. I'm Ben Anderson with Expert Village, and today I'm going to be talking to you about power solutions with your multi rig setup. The first thing that you're going to notice when dealing with a multi rig setup is you're going to have a lot of instruments that are going to need power. So how are you going to get that power? Importantly, I always carry around with me a couple of power strips. They're very important to have because you'll never know exactly where power's going to be available. So I always carry around a couple of power strips to make sure that is not a problem. The next thing I do is to make sure that a lot of wires don't cross that's another really important thing when dealing with keyboards is that you have a lot of wires to deal with, so I always try to make sure that they're out of my way so that I don't trip over them at all and injure myself. With dealing with power, with keyboards, you deal with the power packs, these large power converters that you plug into the wall and they're really big and bulky so it's another really important reason to have power strips with you, so therefore you always know you have ample room to make sure that they fit into any outlet. Another important thing that I always carry with me are three-prong to two-prong converters as well as two-prong to three-prong converters for power supply because you'll never know if you're going to need one depending upon what type of cables you're using. And the other thing I always carry with me are an ample amount of extension cords. Extension cords are very important because, like I said, you'll never know exactly where you're going to be able to find power and you want obviously make sure that all of your equipment is going to get the necessary power that it needs. So carrying around extension cords is very important so that way, wherever power is, on stage or in your home, you would be able to reach it from wherever you are."
