On behalf of Expert Village, I 'm Benjamin Ford Asriel I'm with dance lab NYC here at Stepping Out Studios. And today we will be talking about Post Modern Dance. So using the idea a contraction and extension though you can not afford to half cow, you can make your rolls more efficient. So this x is an extended position and as I am going to bring my left side together, extend my right side, I can bring my head towards my tail and my knee to my head to make my body small. So rather than keeping my body big and open and making tracks against the floor. It can be extended in to lengthen the space in this position and you can bring all the energy in toward your center here to get simply to your knees. So the roll is really head and tail put together or half and then head and tail extend or cow, which you can think half, out, half, out.
