"This is Bill Macpherson for Expert Village okay continuing on now with garageband we're talking about the magic garageband and what you can do in this is you can actually jam along with it. If you go right here you can see how it says my instrument if you click on there all these different instruments will come out that you can jam a long with. Now if you had a midi keyboard hooked up to it you can use any of the keyboards and play along, or you can plug in your guitar into input or you can actually sing along with it if you like to by hooking up a microphone. Now we have a keyboard hooked up right here so we're going to choose electric piano you can see it's brought up in electric piano. But I'm also going to make some changes here I'm going to change some of these instruments I'm going to change the base to upright, change the drums to brushes. Melody we'll take that out completely cause I'm going to play the solo and the guitar we'll change that to the archtop, now this will sound completely different with changing all these instruments. (playing) Now if I play along with it hit my keyboard you can hear that I'm playing along (playing) So if you wanted to you can actually remove all the other instruments maybe just leave the base and drums and you can play along with that also. (playing) In the next clip I'm going to show you how to create a project from this magic garageband and work on those files. This is Bill Macpherson for Expert Village."
