How to Create a New Song: GarageBand Tutorial

"This is Bill Macpherson for Expert Village in this clip I'm going to show you how to setup and create a new song in garageband. We're going to close down our demo song here as you can see it opens up with this window again and we're going to hit create new music project. Now that will open up a window you want to name your song and down here is where you change your tempo, time signature, the key the song will be in, and whether it's major or minor. Now these setting right here can be changed at any point in the song creation process, so you don't have to worry about these being set right now. Hit create now we'll bring up a new song you can see it sets up with one track the grand piano and if you wanted to change this you can double click it. You can see that it opened up the track info you see that's its a software instrument, and you can change it if you like, you can change it to an organ, guitar, a drum kit.
