"Hello this is Bill Macpherson for Expert Village on final note I would like to talk about this amplifier it is a digital amplifier and we're going for the direct outs so your going directly into the board. The amps that we're talking about today don't have any direct outs so you need to mic your amplifier. And the most popular mic to use is the SM57, it's used by many players out there live and in the studio and there pretty inexpensive and you can get them from $99 at at any music store. Now when your micing you amplifier its crucial about the placement, you want to get it as close as possible to the speaker, there are 2 places that you can try to mic the amp. You can go with middle of the speaker the center, or you can go towards the edge of the speaker. It depends on yourself which do yo like best which sound or you should try both of them out and see which one you like the best."
