"Hi this is Bill Macpherson for Expert Village in this clip I like to talk about how you actually make an adjustment to your intonation. Now what your going to want to do is get your guitar in tune and then you want to get each string individually. And what you'll do is hit an open string we're going to do an open E string and then you fret it at the 12th fret. So you look at your tuner and see that your string is in tune open and then you see if it's sharp or flat when you fret it at the 12 fret. Now when you play your open string and then go to your 12 fret and if it plays sharp on your 12 fret your going to move your saddle backwards away from your fret board, that's toward this way. If it's flat your going to move it toward the fret board, that's this way."
