"Hi this is Bill Macpherson for Expert Village alright in this clip I would like to talk about tuning before we get into actually intonating your guitar. There are many different ways to tune a guitar the most popular of course will be with the a tuner. There are other ways that most people will use will be the old fashion way of just using the strings. Some other people would use harmonics to tune there guitar another way people might tune up there guitar is through cords, they want to do it the old fashion way but they'll actually tune the guitar into a cord, maybe just try a different cord and tune it up to that one. Which is not the best way of doing it but a lot of people do it that way. But really the best way to do it would be with a tuner but especially if your intonation is perfect when your use a tuner you'll have perfect tuning throughout the whole neck. Now if your using different tuning methods and your intonation is perfect but your still finding a little bit out of tune your going to want to try a different way of tuning your, like a tuner, electric tuner or some other method that's a little bit more accurate."
