"This is Bill Macpherson for Expert Village okay for this clip I would like to talk about automation now automation is a very important aspect of logic to view automation you go under view, track automation and you'll see all your tracks expand here. The yellow line is the actual automation you see on your track now if you go right here on the track where it says volume that is what it actually being automated. Each track has it's own now in this guitar track there's other things you can automate you could set the volume, pan, solo, mute also turn on and off the bypass for the inserts that we have setup. As you can see we have compressor, channel EQ and a chorus on this track you can set anyone of the parameters and automate them, so as you can automation can get quit stensive if you need it to be. But mostly you'll be using the volume pan and maybe a bypass here and there, in the next couple of clips we're going to talk about how to create the automation there's 2 different ways, one is just drawing in segments and the other one is doing it live by moving the faders, this is Bill Macpherson for Expert Village."
