"This is Bill Macpherson for Expert Village okay in this clip I would like to talk about surround sound now not many people can actually use surround sound it does help to have an audio device that can handle that many outputs and to have that many speakers also. Now to go to surround sound go to your outputs choose surround and you can see your pin changed it's now this sort of 3D looking thing if you double click it you'll get a bigger window of it. And now you can see this is setup for 5.1 so you can see all your speakers and all you have to do is drag this little green circle in the middle and you can put it to any speaker that you want. You can put it to the back speakers or to the front or right in the middle or any where in between. Now if you click right here you can change it to 7.1 surround sound which will give you more speakers again you can pin it to those and you also have maybe 7.1 without the center speaker and that's how you use surround sound in logic pro."
