""As with any sport it's very important you stretch out with Irish dance because you don't want to pull any muscles in your Hamstrings or Calves and you don't want to sprain your Ankle. So be sure to stretch out and loosen up your ankles and stretch out your back too. Here's some stretches that I usually do. Start with a Calve stretch. Leaning in. Push forward. Hold, and back out. Change legs. Push forward. Stretch from the Calve and back out. Than you want to stretch the front. Stretch your toe up. Hold your leg tight. High as you can go and down. Stretch your toe up as high as you can and down. Stand with your feet wider than your shoulder width and lean to one side. Just stretch the inside of the muscle. Back out. Move to the left side. Hold and back out. It's always important to do the stretches with this as you would do with Soccer or any other sport. The left leg. Stretch down. Feel a pull on the front of your thigh. Now front stretches are important in Irish Dancing too because you have to lift your leg high. So stretch up and same with this one. Stretch your knee up. Than loosen out your legs. Feet exercises include some points. Follow the line the whole way down your leg and make sure there is an arch on your foot. You can stretch up, up, up, up, and flex, circles. Left leg. Point follow the line the whole way down your leg, arch at the toe, lift, and roll the ankle. Finally stretch out the back. make sure you can support everything while your dancing from your feet all the way to your shoulders. Now that?s stretched out.""
