"AMANDA CLAIRE: Okay. Now, I've got one of the wires connected from the jack terminal and to the speaker terminal. The other one's already soldered to the speaker terminal. I did that by tinning the tips of the wire and the terminal as well and then let the solder flow over the hot metal. Now, I've just got one last wire to do. I've got the tip of the wire already tinned. I'm just going to bring the iron over here and get it real hot and kinda connect it to the solder that already exists on that little speaker terminal and I'm using my needle-nosed pliers here because I would be scared to have my hand in there so close to the iron because of how hot it is. I'm going to hold it. Gonna hold it. I'm going to let it solder it up and there we go. Done. Clean the tip. Put the iron away. And so now, with any luck, if I plug in my guitar cable into this, we'll be able to hear it through the amp."
