"AMANDA CLAIRE: All right, so now we've got the jack installed in the case so with the part of the plug goes into on the outside, which is what you want. Now we've got the terminals inside so these are the two terminals here that you're going to want to solder a wire to each of them. And then those wires will need to either go the circuit board or to the speaker, whichever is closer. And I personally like to take it to the speaker because you know the circuit board is a lot--the contacts are a lot smaller, there's a lot more kind of crammed than one little area and so I mean and in this particular one look, I'd have to melt this hot glue and kind of get under there to those contacts. So I might as well just run the contacts right over to the speaker since there's two contacts here that are going to two contacts on the speaker. So if I wanted to send that signal to the jack I just need to put a wire on each of these two contacts on the speaker and just run one to each of these two terminals here. So what am I going to do? I'm going to start by cutting two pieces of wire that are about the same length, okay? And so that looks like about, I don't know, 3 or 4 inches. You might always want to make a little bit longer because you don't want it install it too tight. So about 3, 4, I don't know, 4-1/2 inches. So, that's the length and I'm going to cut two of these."
