"AMANDA CLAIRE: All right. So the first thing to do is called cracking the case, and that doesn't mean you're going to break it; it just means you're going to crack it open. And you're not going to do it by force; you're going to do it by removing the screws. And so most of the screws on these things are on the back so you flip it over and make sure it's flat, and you look at here and you see that the screws are all going to be in these little sunken, recessed areas here. There'll usually be at least one screw sometimes up to four that are used to holding the battery panel in place. You don't need to remove those. And in fact because you need to have the batteries in while you're testing out your project you want to keep them in. So really, all I need to remove are these screws around here. Now another thing--oh and of course there's some up here on the handle. Another thing to keep in mind is that there are times you will find that these aren't all the same screw. Like some of them might be longer ones and some of them might be shorter ones. Often they'll be the same diameter but sometimes they're different screws and so if you start taking them out and you find that they are, you want to kind of maybe organize them on a piece of paper or maybe stick them to a piece of masking tape and just kind of remember which ones went into which holes because when you get into this, you'll find kind of down the road that you've got screws all over the table. And unless you have some idea about which ones went where, if they are different sizes, you can kind of be in a bit of a jam trying to get the thing back together. So if you do find that you have different sized screws, just kinda keep track of which ones go where."
