"Now one neat little trick that I use sometimes, especially when I'm printing with a fiber based paper, are the times in which I develop my print at. Now there are different times for RC paper and for fiber paper. That's one way that the fiber based paper is a little bit slower to work with. But I sort of like it because I can develop my fiber based paper anywhere from two to five minutes. And therefore I can sort of manipulate the way that print looks. I can manipulate it much easier than I can manipulate my RC print. And another thing that I can do with the fiber based paper, is I can use two developers. I can use a Dectol and a Selectol. The Dectol's are a cold, contrasty developer, and the Selectol's a very warm developer. So in a way, I'm getting the best of both worlds using those two different developers. Now it is more expensive to use two different developers, but sometimes price is definitely worth what your final outcome of your print is."
