Video: Darkroom Photo Paper Storage

So again, getting paper out of the box. To recap, when you open up this box again, Please, I know I keep saying this but only do it when those red lights are on. The other thing is that when you open up this box of paper, there is going to be, the paper is in a plastic bag which is kind of cool in a way. And you open it and you take the paper out of the plastic bag. Important, don't throw the plastic bag out. You're going reuse that bag. And I actually like using these plastic bags that the paper is in to keep film in. To keep, sometimes if I'm shooting medium format film and it's a loosely rolled film, I have those plastic bags and I keep the film in there. I also use them to make little, basically little templates because those plastic bags are really light tight. So if I'm printing something on a piece of paper that I don't want the light to hit, that bag I can actually cut and make little shapes out of and use. So, very important the way this paper is stored. Another thing, where I am, it's very hot. I always want to keep my paper in a nice, cool place because really, in some ways, the heat will ruin your paper faster than even the light will.
