Video: Loading a Medium Format Negative Carrier

This negative in my hand is a single frame 2 and a 1/4 negative. This is a negative that I made, photographed, with a medium format toy camera. And I'm going to talk a little bit about how to print from analog negatives taken with toy cameras in the future. But it's very similar to how I loaded up the 35mm negative. Emulsion side, non-emulsion side. I flip my negative so that the Kodak or the Ilford or Fuji, whatever type of film that you're shooting, is upside down. And again, I have these little, little nubs that line up. Really important to do this in a calm, rational way. You don't want to be in a rush. I've been in a rush before and I've had my negative kind of over one of the little nubs and then I got this, this hole on my negative and that really wasn't a great darkroom day for me. So when you are doing this, loading, registering negatives, again, calm. Think about what you are doing. Because you really essentially could really ruin something. So, it's in there straight and you're ready to begin putting the negative in the enlarger and start making prints.
