After my contact sheet is dry, I take it and I look at it and this is where the fun kind of begins. And I can look at my images and go well, which image do I want to print? And I use my loupe and I just start to look. And I have my grease pencil again, and I just circle what images I want to print. This way, I sit down and I say, "I'm going to work on 2 images today." or "I'm going to work on these 5 images this afternoon." I try not to get overwhelmed. A lot of times I've seen students in the darkroom start to just get, you know, I'm going to make this, I'm going to do that and I'm going to do that and before you know it, they're all over the place. So you really want to just, again, use a little bit of discipline and find out what image that you like the best and just say "I'm going to make this image today." Pacing is really important in making artwork and how you do it. So that's one thing I've learned that's incredibly important. So, there's an image in the middle of the capital and the dome that I like a lot with the trees, so this is the image I'm going to work on this afternoon.
