I don't care a technique is going to incredibly improve your performance, give you a cut about the competition. The common misconception is that learning the technique of singing is going to some how going to turn you into a opera singer and that is not true. If you get the right teacher and you get the right instruction. Singing is really a physical activity it is almost like being a dancer and if you don't practice daily you would loose the very settle inter muscular control that you need to sound your best. To express yourself artistically in the way that you desire. Technique should not get in the way of your artistic desire and expression and passion. But technique should be a tool to give you a amazing amount of possibilities that you would never dream that you could have. "
