"In this clip about performance art, I'm going to talk about developing a performance art persona or personality. This is fantastic marketing tip. You know what? Be a performance artist not just on stage, but in your home town. Go to parties, go to social situations dressed or, you know, in your personality. Say unexpected social taboo things randomly at social situations too, so that people start thinking of you as that weird, freaky, funny, entertaining, offbeat artist. And then you know what? They are going to want to come to your show absolutely. So develop yourself, develop a name in your hometown. Not even from your shows, but from just being your quirky, wonderful, fabulous, authentic, self. You know what? Decide for this year, I'm going to wear a different color every day. Or, in the year 2009, I'm going to wear nothing but red, red, every day red. And the people will stop you. Why are you wearing red? Why do you wear red every day? Then you have to explain it and then they have to come to your show."
