"In this segment we're going to learn how to play the D chord. The D chord actually looks like you're making a little D on your guitar. I'm going to take my first finger put it on the second fret, put it on the third string. One, two, three! Second finger, second fret, first string. Third finger, third fret, second string. There's a D chord! If you look over on the chord chart over here, this x and this x means do not play these strings. The round circle, the white circle means play that string even though our fingers are doing nothing. Play it as an open string! Remember we counted one, two, three, four, five, six. The fifth and sixth strings we do not play. Let's take a look over here. Fifth and sixth strings we do not play. I'm going to start my strum from here and that's a beautiful crisp, perfect D chord. Just like that!"
