"We're going to learn how to make an E chord in this segment. Now, the E chord is a beautiful chord. I'm going to take, remember we numbered our fingers 1, 2, 3, 4. I'm going to take the first little finger, put it on the first fret on the third string; 1, 2, 3. And I'm going to take the second finger on the second fret on the fifth string, 1, 2, 3, 4, 5. The third finger on the second fret on the fourth string, 1, 2, 3, 4. I?m going to push really hard. I'm going to make sure none of these fingers are accidentally touching any other fingers, and I'm going let it ring out. Nice and beautiful. And here it is, you can see how it's written down on the chord chart there. That's exactly what I'm doing. So, get familiar with your E chord. Practice your E chord. Memorize your E chord. Memorize your A chord. And then you're one chord away from playing almost half of the folk songs out there. Listen, most songs are 3 chords. It won't be that hard."
