"In this clip we're going to talk about how to strum the guitar. Now that you have your A chord, what are you going to do with your right hand? You're going to strum. That's all you've got to do. Nice and gentle. Now, a little trick about the A chord is, if you can, try not to play the E chord here, the sixth string up here because, you can, but then it has the E and the bass, and for all you musical techies out there, you'll know that sometimes you want to have that sound, but it makes it a little muddier, but it's nice if you can strum on this chord. Don't get uptight about it. It's just, try to do it. So, if I'm going to play a song, I just keep a nice, steady beat. That's really simple. I'm doing a down stroke. This wrist is really relaxed. Here we go, down stroke. Now, there's also up strokes. I could go down, up, down, up. I'm just using my thumb. Down, up, down, up, down, up, down, up; really simple. Now, if you're getting all sorts of weird, buzzy sounds, know that you're not pushing hard enough here. Alright, so push really hard here, but really relaxed here."
