"In this section we're going to learn about the Phrygian Mode which is from E to E all white keys. Now remember with any of these modes you can and you should practice transposing them so that you're not always starting on E but the easiest thing is to start on E. So let me play E and the base and just play any old notes I feel like. And in the base I'm doing E and then I'm going to the four of E which is one, two, three, four. I'm going up there because a lot of music is just one, four, five for the chords. Sounds mysterious, these modes actually come from Greek, Greek music way long ago. Doesn't it sound like someone playing on some Island somewhere?"
