"Hi, I’m Amir from Precision Audio Productions and on behalf of Expert Village we’re going to be talking about chopping samples on MPC 2000XL. First thing first, samples are reloaded into MPC, so we go to shift, trim, choose the sample that we want to slice. You’re going to have to slice it manually by editing the samples end and starting points or you can go to the zone menu, if you want to slice into many small pieces press old menu on zone, set the numbers of slice points you want, press do it. Then go to the edit menu and slice the sound, press do it and now we have many different small slices. I’m Amir from Precision Audio Productions, thank you very much."
