"Hi, I’m Amir from Precision Audio Productions and on behalf of Expert Village we’re going to talk about what a sample is. Samples are used in many different genres of music, but today we’re going to talk about hip-hop. What’s done, is many of samples are taken from different sources and put together and combined to make a whole different composition. For example, this one that we’ve recorded previously and what a sample is, is a small snippet of audio that’s taken from movies, music, speeches or anything that makes noise and put together in a musical way. What you have to do when you’re using sample is to just be careful when you’re not using your own music because you could run to legal issues if you don’t have permission to use those samples. I’m Amir from Precision Audio Productions, thank you."
