"Hi, I’m Amir from Precision Audio Productions and on behalf of Expert Village this segment is going to be on the left side of the MPC 2000XL interface. What we have here starting from the top is the main screen, which shows you all of the functions that you do and right below that we have the function buttons, which lets you select the function on the screen so you can do different actions and we have the main screen button which sends you back to the main screen from any screen that you’re on when you’re making a selection. We have an open window button, which opens the window to whatever selection that you choose on the main screen or any other screen. We have the data wheel, which lets you choose different options and selections on any function and lets you change the value of any function that is on the main screen or any other screen. We have the cursor, which lets you move from different selections, from selection to selection. We have the number buttons, which lets you enter numbers one and if you press with the shift button, it sends to different screens for different functions. We have the enter button, which lets you enter whatever value that you put in. We have the locate buttons, which lets you move from one point to another in your song or sequence. These over here move you from bar to bar, move one bar to the next bar in one bar intervals and this one moves you from step to step, from one step to a next step in one step intervals. We have the undo button undo sequence, which lets you undo the sequence that you’ve just recorded. The erase button lets you erase any sequence that you recorded or anything that you recorded at all. You have the tap tempo button, which lets you select the tempo by tapping in the tempo, depending on what speed you tap it, it changes. Note repeat is the same function of the tap tempo, which lets you repeat a note, you hold this and you hold the trigger button and it repeats one after another the sample at which ever timing selection that you meet. We have the main transport after play, play/start, stop, over dub and record. Play/start plays from the beginning, play plays it from whatever point that you’ve recently stopped from. Over dub that’s your over dub while it’s playing and record lets you record a sequence. We have the slider, which lets you modify different functions within the sound of a sample and we have the main media. I have a zip drive, some have floppy disks, some have MCD memory card drives but mine has the zip drive, it’s a bit of a older model and that is the left side of the interface of MPC 2000XL, thank you very much.
